The sculpture entitled "The Mother," represents Vulcan's Mother in the mythological figure of Hephaestus. 
The Mother is a mesmerizing tribute to the beauty of nature, represented by a section of a spiral, a symbol of dynamism and perfection that is found throughout the natural world. The spiral, which is also a symbol of the mother, takes on new meaning in this work, evoking the power of creation and the beauty of the natural world.
