Streeetch, is an armoured concrete sculpture for performances based on stretching poses. Made in 2020 during lockdown, the sculpture presents an otherworldly body, resembling an alien form. In a period marked by a sense of alienation from conventional human interactions, this sculpture emerges as a catalyst for stretching the boundaries of our imagination into the realms of the extraordinary. Reflecting the need for innovative modes of connection during times of constrained human interaction, "Streeetch" stands as a robust and steadfast support for alternative interactions with the artwork and boundless imaginings. Its concrete structure not only embodies strength but also serves as a tangible anchor for fostering self-care, creativity, and exploration.
