Third Variable

Chocolate sculpture

15x12x2,5 cm

2014

The edible sculpture Third Variable consists of 100 pieces, which were offered to visitors during exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art Palazzo Riso and RizzutoGallery in Italy. The sculpture was created in collaboration with pastry chef Cappello and designer Eleonora Balsamo.

This work is part of the project "Study of Energy Emission Generated from 300kg of Chocolate", which is built around three key variables. These variables are intended to transform potential limitations into creative opportunities. The project focuses on the artist’s use of approximately 300 kilograms of chocolate, originally featured in the Dieter Roth and Björn Roth retrospective exhibition at Hangar Bicocca.
